Phil Harris joined the South Regional Catholic Elementary Schools team in the summer of 2023.  His role as Regional Security Coordinator will allow him to bring continuity and advancement to the overall security policies within the South Region.

From the beginning with his military background, his distinguished career in the Pennsylvania State Police, and most recently as the School Resource Officer at St. Louise de Marillac, Phil has served the public for over 30 years.  He has been fortunate to have had such a diverse career, from patrolling the streets of our communities to investigating high-profile crimes to leading the motorcades at the G20 summit. Protecting Presidents, Vice Presidents, Governors, and Foreign Dignitaries, high profile security, and law enforcement has been his life and passion.

Phil has worked closely with the United States Secret Service to protect Presidents Bush, Clinton, and Obama while they visited our region. Now, he serves and protects people smaller, yet just as important. His new role as Regional Security Coordinator will allow him to help reinforce the overall security in all the schools within the South Region.
