SRCES Mother of Mercy Academy is seeking a Before & After School Care assistant from 3:00

pm to 6:00 pm, Monday, Thursday, and Friday.

Job Summary:
The After School Care assistant position is responsible for the well-being and safety of
the children who utilize the program under the direction of the Before & After Care Director. It
should be a creative, friendly, and energetic environment for the children.
Duties:
● Assist children in starting homework
● Pass out after school snack
● Record pick up time of each parent/guardian for each individual child
● Supervise play
● Tidy and clean up the room at the end of each night
● Other duties to be assigned by the school principal
Qualifications:
● 21 years of age
● Completed safe environment training and background check
● High school diploma or GED
● Valid PA Driver's License
Job Requirements:
● Friendly, energetic, and nurturing personality
● Ability to work with children ages 4 and up
● Ability to communicate with co-workers and parents

Job Summary:
The Director works closely with the principal to provide students with high-quality
learning experiences. Develop and refine the structure of the programs based on the strategic
initiatives of the schools and student’s needs and interests. Ensures compliance with state and
regional regulations and evaluates the effectiveness of programming for continuous
improvement efforts.

Duties:
● Process billing of each family on a weekly basis
● Maintain schedule of assistant(s)
● Maintain state guidelines
● Pass out after school snack
● Record pick up time of each parent/guardian for each individual child
● Supervise play
● Tidy and clean up the room at the end of each night
● Other duties to be assigned by the school principal
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in education
● Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.
● Completed safe environment training, background check, and all diocesan clearances.
● Previous experience (preferred)
● Valid PA Driver's License

● Ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
● Ability to work with technology
● Use of FACTS mgt (preferred)
● Ability to work with children ages 4 and up
